Volkswagen ID Buzz Now Has Camper Van Custom: EVentje!

JAKARTA - There are quite a lot of aftermarket vans for ID Buzz due to the delay in the presence of the California edition. One of them is provided with a modified Ventje workshop, which is based in the Netherlands.

Ventje presents Volkswagen ID Buzz with a smart and charming van custom camper version called eVentje. The latest news is that eVentje has started to be sold in Europe!

Although it can accommodate four people for sleep, eVentje is only legal to drive with two people on the European highway. This modified version is built based on Buzz ID with regular wheelbase, not a long wheelbase version that will be present in Europe and the United States.

Launching The Verge, May 29, eVentje is an example where the final result can exceed the quality of the compiler component. ID Buzz is already stunning on the streets, now the charm continues when opening the door and looking at the smart and customizable eVentje interior.

The overall design of the eVentje still uses more than 100 magnets to keep the wooden surface neat and locked. Available kitchens from inside and outside, pop-up tents, and multifunctional interiors that can be converted from relaxing space to beds to luxury outer furniture sets in minutes - all still there.

The increase is seen in the kitchen part which is now more flexible - the main challenge in the narrowest space - and the use of smarter storage. Ventje is now using two induction stoves thanks to the addition of a 2200W inverter and a 2160Wh battery recharged from the VW car battery, 350 watt solar panels, and a mini external electric plug at the bottom of the van.

To complement vanlife's lifestyle, Ventje provides eight USB (4x USB-A, 4x USB-C) plugs, 12V electrical plugs, 3 wireless charging bins, and 3 AC 230V plugs. Lighting options are also increasing, including LED strip lights that can be stripped and sunscreen that can be closed in pop-up tents.

Unfortunately, the less intuitive VW software is still a nuisance even though the driving experience remains quiet even with all Ventje customizations. Ideally, VW can present camping mode on Buzz IDs as already in their California series. This feature will make it easier to adjust the cabin temperature of ID Buzz when parking and turn off movement alarms automatically when all doors are locked at night.

eVentje, just like ID Buzz, is not a cheap product. In Europe, he will soon be competing with the new VW's new Van PHEV camper "Trypta California which will go on sale in June for a price that is likely not much different.

This modified eVentje ID Buzz is priced at 95,000 euros (around Rp1.66 billion) in Europe. While the modification work takes 9 months to calculate from the time of booking. Apart from the European Union, Ventje also plans to penetrate the UK and United States markets.
