Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25, Farewell To Legendary Touch
JAKARTA - Audi launched a special limited edition model, namely Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hospital 4.
As a performance car from the A4 series, this model offers impressive new driving dynamics. With exclusive interior and exterior details and iconic Imola Yellow colors, it reminds Audi RS4 Sport.
More than just aesthetic refreshment, reported by Autoexpress, May 29, 4 Avant Edition 25 Hospital is present as farewell. The reason is, the next generation of RS 4 will later evolve to RS 5 Avant which relies on hybrid technology.
Meanwhile, in the manufacturer's release, it is called a technical change in the engine, suspension, wheels in Edition 25 are relatively meaningful. Audi managed to boost its power to deliver impressive performance. The V6 biturbo machine at New Hospital 4 Avant Edition 25 has 346 kW (470 PS) output and a maximum torque of 600 Nm. This means that it has increased by 15 kW (20 PS) compared to 4 Avant3 Hospital. As a result, the car was able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, 0.4 seconds faster than Audi RS 4 Avant3. While the highest speed was 300 km/hour supported by the carbon ceramic brake system, this change effectively reduced weights.
In addition to the increase in power, RS 4 Avant Edition 25 also borrowed a number of improvements from Audi RS 4 Competition previously. This includes a more aggressive transmission calibration, special tuning for Sport Quattro differentials, reduction of sound damping material to deliver a more sporty audio sensation in the cabin, as well as the exhaust system of the Sports Exhaust Hospital for a more fierce engine roar.
Obviously, the performance of Hospital 4 Avant Edition 25 is quite impressive considering that this car has functionality as a family vehicle with 5 seats and a relieved baggage room.
For the handling sector, Audi provides 4 Avant Edition 25 Hospital with a Sports Suspension Pro Hospital system. This suspension replaces adaptive damping in standard 4 hospitals with fully tunable coilovers. Ground clearance of this car is also 10 mm lower than the standard version, and can even be lowered again as far as 10 mm using the included special tools.
Audi also embeds 20-inch rims with a milled design as standard equipment. Combined with standard tires using high-performance Pirelli P Zero Corsa, with the Trofeo Hospital's super-aggressive tire option specifically designed for racing tracks is available in several countries.
The main highlight of the visual side is of course the iconic Imola Yellow flow, adopted from Audi RS 4 generation B5 which launched in 2001.
For high-performance car fans who long for a touch of nostalgia, Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 can be considered. Audi RS 4 Avant Edition 25 can be ordered starting June 2024, which is only 250 units available at a fairly high price starting at 142,905 euros or equivalent to IDR 2.5 billion.
