Langsa Aceh Police Arrest 10 Kilograms Of Shabu
BANDA ACEH - Langsa Resort Police (Polres) personnel, Aceh, arrested a courier suspected of carrying methamphetamine drugs weighing up to 10 kilograms.
Langsa Police Chief AKBP Andy Rahmansyah said the courier had the initials BH (53), a resident of Juang City, Bireuen Regency, Aceh. The methamphetamine was about to be brought to Jakarta by land.
"BH is a recidivist in the same case. BH was sentenced to 13 years in prison in 2011 with seven kilograms of crystal methamphetamine as evidence," Andy Rahmansyah said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 28.
Andy Rahmansyah said that BH was arrested in Bireuen Regency on Friday (17/5) at around 20.30 WIB. The arrest of BH based on public information which states that a narcotics network will pass through the jurisdiction of the Langsa Police.
Based on this information, personnel from the Opsnal Unit of the Langsa Police Narcotics Investigation Unit investigated it. The investigation was carried out for about a month.
From the results of the investigation, information was obtained that there was a narcotics network carrying methamphetamine via land with an initial departure point from Banda Aceh City to Jakarta City.
Furthermore, the Langsa Police Narcotics Investigation Unit Opsnal team expanded its investigation and searched for a network of methamphetamine dealers as reported.

Investigations into several regencies/cities in Aceh Province. Then, on Friday (17/5) at around 20.30 WIB, the team was in Bireuen Regency. The team saw a minibus as reported.
"Furthermore, the team approached the minibus and examined it. In the minibus there was a BH and it was immediately secured. From the inspection, 10 large packages of methamphetamine were found in the minibus," said Andy Rahmansyah.
Based on the results of the initial examination, it was found that there was another perpetrator with the initials YS. The team then searched for YS around Bireuen Regency. However, YS has not been found and is now on the wanted list (DPO).
"The perpetrator BH is suspected of being a cross-provincial methamphetamine courier. The prohibited goods are circulated to the Java Island area. Now, BH and evidence are being secured at the Langsa Police Headquarters for further investigation," said Andy Rahmansyah.
