Talking About PDIP's Political Attitude, I Played First, TKN Went To Megawati: State Can't Play Games

JAKARTA - The Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka National Campaign Team (TKN) responded to a statement by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri who spoke up to play a political dynamic before announcing the party's stance. Whether to take a coalition position or opposition to the Prabowo-Gibran government.

Deputy Chairperson of TKN Silfester Matutina, gave a message to Megawati that countries should not play games. According to him, the political stance must be clear to build the nation together.

"The state cannot play games, we determine the fate of the nation in the future. So it must be fixed. If we are towards the common good, let's do it," said Silfester to reporters, Tuesday, May 28.

Silfester then criticized the PDIP's stance which considered the 2024 election to be the worst democratic party in history. According to him, there has been no acknowledgment from PDIP regarding the election results which were inserted by allegations of fraud, it is very detrimental to political education for the Indonesian people. "That is, PDIP still says that the 2024 election is a lot of fraud by TSM, including the worst election in the history of democracy in Indonesia. And this embarrasss all of us, our nation, including in the eyes of the international community," said the Head of the Red and White Solidarity (Solmet). Silfte also suggested that PDIP be outside the Prabowo-Gibran government. Because he was worried that the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) would be disturbed by its integrity if PDIP joined.

"So the point is in our opinion, yes, PDIP should be outside the government or opposition. Instead of later disrupting the integrity of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition," he said. Previously, PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri said that her party's attitude was based on the thought that would bring the Indonesian nation to be better and sovereign on its own feet.

"That is the basis for our choice of attitude. Our political attitude. So if no one participates, they are not disciplined, they already know what you want to do," Megawati said during the PDIP V National Working Meeting, Sunday, May 26.

According to Megawati, the party's stance must be calculated politically. He also admitted that he had read the news about the PDIP's attitude to be announced in the National Working Meeting V. He also said he would play the dynamics first.
