JAKARTA - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution did another blusukan (unannounced inspections). This time Bobby went to Grandma Sarifah's house in the 6th Ward of Denai Village, Medan Denai District.

His visit to Grandma Sarifah's house was to fulfill his campaign promise while advancing as a candidate for mayor of Medan. Where at that time Bobby promised to renovate Grandma Sarifah's house.

This time Bobby came not only with Medan city officials. But accompanied by his wife Kahiyang Ayu who is also the daughter of President Joko Widodo.

"I kept my campaign promise to come back to visit Grandma Sarifah's house in neighborhood 6 of Denai Village, Medan Denai District as Mayor of Medan to follow up on the difficulties that Grandma Sarifah has been experiencing. On this visit, I also invited @ayanggkahiyang's my wife", he said. Bobby was quoted from his personal Instagram account @bobbynst, Thursday, March 11.

According to Bobby, this was done to ease the burden on Grandma Sarifah, who is currently late. "At an old age, Grandma Syarifah lives alone in the house which is quite apprehensive. Plus at this time Grandma Syarifah is sick and her house is just a burglary", said Bobby.

According to Bobby, he actually wanted to move Grandma Sarifah to a more decent house. However, Grandma Sarifak didn't like it. So that during his visit this time he asked related officials to help carry out renovations.

"I ordered the sub-district, village head, and head of the environment to immediately complete the administrative processes needed so that Grandma Syarifah's house would immediately receive renovation assistance", said Bobby.

Bobby's post received mixed responses from netizens. Several netizens pray that the Mayor of Medan is always healthy so he can solve all the problems that exist in Medan.

Previously, Bobby also fulfilled his campaign promise. Namely knocking down illegal buildings which are the heritage of Medan City.

Then, President Jokowi's son-in-law has also visited Ramli Sinaga's house to be renovated.

Bobby said he would keep his promise to fix Ramli's house. The reason is, Ramli and his family live in quite apprehensive house conditions. The house is only paved with dirt, wooden walls and has no roof. There is only one room where the living room doubles as the bedroom as well as the kitchen.
