WSBP Optimistic To Get Other External Projects In IKN
JAKARTA - PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) has successfully supplied almost all of the Readymix products needed for the Building and Area project of the Ministry of Coordinator 3, the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago, East Kalimantan. Currently, the progress has reached 90 percent and is targeted for completion by the end of May 2024.
The supplyed Readymix products are Readymix Fc' 35 and Fc' 30 with a slept 12 approximately 2 cm. This readymix is produced at the Sepaku WSBP Battery Plant which is 10 km from the project site so that the Readymix supply can be fulfilled on a large and fast scale without the old delivery process.
"With the success of WSBP in the building construction project and the area of the Coordinating Ministry 3 at IKN, WSBP is optimistic that it can get another external contract. The government's trust to cooperate with WSBP in this project is believed to be able to open an external project market at IKN," said Vice President of Corporate Secretary Fandy Dewanto. Fandy said that this area would later be used as a place for the Coordinating Ministry for Politics, Law and Human Rights (Polhukam).
Meanwhile, the project obtained from Waskita-Nindya KSO as the main contractor, WSBP has supplied 5.292.5 m3 from January 2024.
From this project, WSBP obtained a total project contract value of IDR 21.3 billion. Fandy conveyed that with proud achievements in the Kemenko 3 development project at IKN, WSBP stated its commitment as the main choice in industry and manufacturing.
According to Fandy, with the success of the Readymix supply on this important project, WSBP proves its commitment to become a reliable and trusted partner in the construction industry.
"WSBP is optimistic that it will get opportunities from various development projects for the National Capital of the Archipelago (IKN)," he said.
Fandy said that it is not only infrastructure development and government buildings that are currently running, but also housing, public facilities, commercial development, and business centers.
