Jambi Police Hand Over 3 Suspects In Subsidized Fuel Cases To The Prosecutor's Office

JAKARTA - The Jambi Police have handed over three suspects and evidence of the subsidized fuel misuse (BBM) case to the Muara Bulian District Attorney (Kejari), Batanghari.

"The three suspects in the case of misuse of subsidized fuel have been in stage two," said Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Police, Kombes Pol Mulia Prianto in Jambi, Wednesday, May 22, confiscated by Antara.

The Jambi Regional Police on March 9, 2024, revealed a case of misuse of subsidized fuel. The police arrested three suspects with the initials (IP), (AC) and (US), one of whom is the owner of an illegal fuel storage warehouse.

As for the evidence that was successfully secured from the three suspects, namely 23 jerry cans with a capacity of 35 liters, three plastic drums, two buckets, two tubes, 851 liters of diesel oil, two tronton tank cars along with STNK and two delivery letters.

Three perpetrators of misuse of diesel fuel were arrested with evidence of 851 liters of fuel.

These three suspects have their respective roles (IP) and (AC) is the driver of the Pertamina El Nusa fuel tank truck and (US) is the owner of a warehouse located in Batanghari Regency. The three suspects were arrested in Kembang Sari Village, Muaro Sebo Ulu District, Batanghari Regency.

The mode they do is by lowering some of the contents of the tank for their own interests and the warehouse owner, they resell their diesel to the general public.

The suspects admitted that they had committed their actions four times.
