PK-IFP Plane That Crashed In BSD, Police Check Indonesia Flying Club And ATC
TANGERANG - The police are still investigating the accident of the PK-IFP Type Tecanm P2006T training plane that crashed in the Sunbrut BSD Field area, South Tangerang, Sunday, May 19, during the day.
Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police, AKP Agil, said that his party had examined ATC (Air Traffic Controller) and General Affairs IFC (Indonesian Flying Club).
In addition, his party also examined a number of witnesses at the crime scene (TKP). The goal is to understand the temporary picture of the plane's route and flight time from the first take off until an accident is found.
"We have carried out the collection of Initial Information and clarification of several parties such as witnesses at the TKP, the ATC and General Affairs IFC (Indonesian Flying Club)," said Agil when confirmed, Wednesday, May 22.
Regarding the investigation, said Agil, the case of the PK-IFP Type Tecanm P2006T training plane accident was handled by the National Transportation Safety Committee (NTSC).
"Regarding the investigation to investigate the causes of the plane crash, it is still being processed and handled by the NTSC," he said
Previously, the police would examine the Indonesian Flying Club community as the owner of the PK-IFP Type Tecanm P2006T training aircraft. The examination was related to the accident incident that occurred in BSD Serpong.
"The South Tangerang Police will summon the owner of the plane," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Tuesday, May 21.
The inspection process is said to be taking place at the South Tangerang Police. In fact, the owner of the plane will be asked to explain about the accident incident.
"We will continue to explore it to undergo clarification to explain flight routes, flight schedules and so on. Later, the South Tangerang Police will schedule it," he said.

However, regarding the timing of the examination or clarification, Ade could not confirm it. It is only said, in the deepening of the accident incident, the police collaborated with the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) and the City Government (Pemkot).
"Currently, an investigation is still being carried out by the South Tangerang Police in collaboration with the NTSC and the South Tangerang City Government to reveal the cause of the accident," he said.
