Investigate PT Telkom's Fictitious Investment, A Number Of Locations Were Searched By The KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigative team is said to have searched a number of locations related to alleged riots at PT Telkom. This forced effort was carried out to investigate fraudulent practices that made the state lose hundreds of billions of rupiah. "We make sure that several places have been searched for PT Telkom," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters quoted on Wednesday, May 22. Even so, Ali has not detailed the matter of the search conducted by investigators. He only confirmed this step to investigate the latest cases at the state-owned company. Ali asked the public to continue to monitor the work of the anti-corruption commission. He said, the KPK would always convey its progress.. "If we get the information, we inform our friends where the search is and whatever the results are," he said. Previously, the KPK again investigated allegations of corruption in PT Telkom. There are already names of suspects pocketed and these cases are different from investigations conducted on PT Sigma Cipta Caraka or Telkomsigma.

In this case, it is suspected that the procurement of goods and services was carried out fictitiously. Thus, the state has finally lost hundreds of billions. The KPK currently has the names of suspects. However, they do not want to elaborate because investigators are still looking for evidence to investigate their role clearly.
