Hutama Karya Pamer 17 Dams Built In The 10th WWF In Bali
JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) has built 17 dams over the past decade.
Of these, 11 dams have been completed and six of them are still being worked on.
The 11 dams that have been completed are Leuwikeris in West Java; Gongseng, Semantok and Bendo in East Java; Keureuto in Aceh; and Sindang Heula in Banten.
Next, Batang Toru Dam in North Sumatra; Ladongi and Ameroro in Southeast Sulawesi; Bintang Bano and Tanju & Mila in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
While the other six, namely the Tigadihaji Dam in South Sumatra, Meninting in NTB, Way Apu in Maluku, Bulango Ulu in Gorontalo, Cijurei in West Java and Karangnongko in Central Java.
Executive Vice President (EVP) Secretary of Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim said that strategic companies such as dams are here to support sustainable water management and realize food security in creating prosperity for the community.
This is what Hutama Karya brought to the side event of the 10th Fair and Expo World Water Forum (WWF) which featured a portfolio of water infrastructure during 20-25 May 2024 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC).
In addition to building water infrastructure, Hutama Karya also contributes to providing water facilities as a forum for mutual welfare in overcoming the crisis.

"In the 10th World Water Forum exhibition, Hutama Karya provided experience in water infrastructure that has been built or is being built to visitors by displaying a number of iconic projects in the form of photos and videos supported by Virtual Reality (VR) technology," said Adjib quoted from Hutama Karya's official website, Tuesday, May 21.

Adjib added, Hutama Karya has also built a smart water facility in Gunung Sugih District, Central Lampung Regency, a drill well facility in Sumpur Kudus District, Sijunjung Regency, Sumatra, and a raw water facility which is currently still under construction with BUMN Karya in Sungai Sembilan District, Dumai City, Riau.
In addition, to support the conservation of mangrove planting in the Muara Angke Wildlife Sanctuary and in Sayung District, Demak City.
