KPK Council: Nurul Ghufron's Decision Has Been Completed But There Is A PTUN Determination
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean said the ethical decision of the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, was already there. In fact, the reading is just a matter of doing.
"Yesterday's deliberation was completed, it was unanimous," said Tumpak to reporters at the ACLC KPK Building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Tuesday, May 21.
However, the decision was not read out because the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN) issued an interim decision ordering the postponement of the ethical process against Ghufron. Thus, the KPK Council will only read out when the lawsuit filed has permanent legal force.
"We respect this determination. Therefore, friends need to understand that we cannot fight that decision, that stipulation, because that is how if we adhere to the principle that we obey the law," said Tumpak.
Tumpak highlighted the reasons that made the decision to be issued on the sidelines of the Administrative Court. "I also don't know what an urgent reason is," he said.
