Serdadu Sam Launches The Lady With The Saphire In Her Eyes Towards The First Album
JAKARTA - Serdadu Sam released a new single with the title The Lady With The Saphire In Her Eyes. They produced this song by themselves with the help of Fay Ismail during the cultivation period.
The Lady With The Saphire In Her Eyes was introduced as a different song that was released by Serdadu Sam before. This song was written by kamacallo when he felt lonely and missed his family while undergoing quarantine.
This song is probably the only song I wrote from scratch to completion and even became a whole demo in just a few hours. Usually it takes a long time for me to finish the process of writing one song, "said kacallo, the figure behind Serdadu Sam in his statement, Monday, May 20.
Although the song was born of loneliness and longing, the mood of the song was actually upbeat. Serdadu Sam also chose the progression of chords which is relatively simpler with a short duration compared to other songs.
"I don't have any specific musical references when writing this song, the process really flows solely because of the desire to write something for those waiting for me at home," said kamacallo.
This song also confirms that Serdadu Sam does not want his creative process to be limited or locked up in certain formats or genres.
"I stick to the method of working to capture and absorb all the tones, sound, lyrics, tempo or birama that pass through the head. Then I put them in my garageband application," he said.
