"I was shocked. I thought I was going to fall apart, but it wasn't. I'm very happy with all of you, the atmosphere, this match, being part of this family and about us, how we celebrate today. Thank you very much," Klopp said. "Thank you for ignoring my request not to sing my song for six weeks."
This statement triggered Liverpool fans to sing, which Klopp replied later, "Thank you. If you sing that song next year, it will be funny.
"It doesn't feel like the end. It just feels like the beginning. Today I saw the football team playing full of talent, youth, creativity, passion, greed. It's part of development, that's what you need of course," he said.

"In the last few weeks where I got too much attention, I realized a lot of things. People say I'm turning those who doubt into those who believe. That's not true. You guys did it. Nobody told you to stop believing. The club is in a better moment than a long time," he explained.
"We have this beautiful stadium, training centers, and you guys - world football super powers. Wow. We decide whether we are worried or excited. We decide whether we believe it. We decide whether we believe it or not. Today I am one of you and I continue to believe it. I still believe it 100%," said Klopp.
"You welcome the new manager like you welcome me. You do everything from the first day. You still believe. You encourage the team. I am now one of you. I love all of you. Thank you. You are the best team in the world. Thank you," said Klopp in his farewells.
