IDX: There Are 38 Companies Queue For IPO
JAKARTA - PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) reported that 38 companies in the pipeline will hold an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the Indonesian capital market.
As of May 17, 2024, as many as 24 companies have successfully held IPOs in the Indonesian capital market this year, with funds raised reaching IDR 3.88 trillion.
"Until now, there are 38 companies in the IDX share listing pipeline," said IDX Director of Corporate Assessment I Gede Nyoman Yetna in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday, May 20.
Of the 38 companies in the IPO queue, Nyoman explained that as many as 24 medium-scale rice companies were between IDR 50 billion to IDR 250 billion, eight large-scale rice companies were above IDR 250 billion, and six small-scale rice companies were below IDR 50 billion.
Based on the sector, he explained that in the IPO queue there were eight primary consumer goods sector companies, seven industrial sector companies, and six primary non-consumer goods sector companies.
Then, as many as four property sector companies, four technology sector companies, and three health sector companies.
Then, as many as two companies in the raw goods sector, two energy sector companies, one infrastructure sector company, and one transportation & logistics sector company.
Furthermore, Nyoman explained that there are still 24 companies in line to carry out the rights issue process on the IDX.
"As of May 17, 2024, there have been 8 listed companies that have issued rights issue with a total value of Rp. 24.17 trillion," said Nyoman.
Meanwhile, for the issuance of Debt and Sukuk or EBUS Securities, there are still 43 emissions from 33 EBUS publishers who are in line on the IDX.

"Until now, 37 emissions have been issued from 27 EBUS publishers with funds raised amounting to Rp39.9 trillion," said Nyoman.
Indonesia's capital market is optimistic that the number of listed companies on the IDX can reach 1,000 issuers this year, of which as of April 30, 2024, there have been 17 new companies holding IPOs.
In addition, the number of investors in the Indonesian capital market was recorded at 11.63 million Single Investor Identification (SID) as of April 30, 2024, or a significant increase compared to the end of 2023 which was 10.75 million SID.
