Shoe Manufacturer 'Bata' Gets Sued By Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations By Agus Setiawan
JAKARTA - Shoe manufacturer, PT Sepatu Bata Tbk (BATA) was recently sued for Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) or for bankruptcy at the Commercial Court at the Central Jakarta District Court.
Citing the Central Jakarta District Court's case tracking information system, the petitioner Agus Setiawan was registered with the classification of the case for Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) numbered 114/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2021/PN Jkt.Pst.
Meanwhile, the lawsuit filed by Agus Setiawan was registered on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. He has appointed Hasiholan Tytusano Parulian as the applicant's attorney.
In one of the petitum points, namely, the petitioner asked the Central Jakarta District Court to accept and grant the PKPU request in its entirety.
"State the PKPU defendant PT Sepatu Bata Tbk in a temporary PKPU for 45 days from the time the verdict was pronounced", wrote the lawsuit on the official website of the Central Jakarta District Court, quoted by VOI, Wednesday, March 10.
