Having A Secret Release Clause, Alexis Mac Allister Becomes Real Madrid's Target
JAKARTA The moncer performance of Alexis Mac Allister with Liverpool has attracted Real Madrid's attention. Moreover, the Argentine midfielder apparently has a secret release clause in his contract with the Reds.
The 2022 World Cup winner was brought in by Liverpool from Brighton & Hove Albion last summer, and he has played for The Anfield Gank 45 times this season, with six goals and seven assists.
The 25-year-old is still under contract at Anfield until June 2028. But according to journalist Marcelo Benedetto and Juan Carlos Pasman as reported by sportsmole, it turns out that there is a release clause of 70 million euros in the contract.

This is what makes La Liga giant Real Madrid try to get the Allister Mac out of Anfield by activating the release clause. However, Los Blancos are expected to have just moved closer to Mac Allister in the transfer market next summer, considering they are associated with Kylian Mbappe's arrival this summer.
The arrival of Alexis Mac Allister is indeed needed by Real Madrid who will lose Toni Kroos and Luca Modric. Mac Allister's toughness while guarding midfield both at Brighton and Liverpool is expected to be able to patch the holes after Kroos and Modric's death in midfield of the 2023-2024 La Liga champions.
