Note, Traffic Engineering During The 497th Anniversary Of Jakarta
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Agency (Dishub) will implement a traffic engineering scheme in the form of closing a number of roads. The implementation is to support the launching of the 497th Anniversary (HUT) of Jakarta City, at the Hotel Indonesia (HI) Roundabout, Central Jakarta, Sunday, May 19, 2024.
"Activities will be carried out to coincide with Motor Vehicle Free Day (HBKB), which is 06.00-10.00 along Jalan MH Thamrin and Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, with the main stage at the HI Roundabout," said Head of DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, Saturday, May 18.
In the traffic engineering, the roads that will be closed are Jalan Jenderal Sudirman starting from the Youth Statue Roundabout to Jalan MH Thamrin or the Fountain Roundabout.
Later, traffic flow from the south will be diverted to Jalan Asia Afrika-Jalan Gerbang Pemuda-Jalan Gatot Subroto-Jalan KS Tubun-Jalan KH Mas Mansyur-Jalan Cideng.
Drivers can also go through HR. Rasuna Sald-Jalan Prof D Satrio Jalan KH Mas Mansyur so on, and or vice versa.
"Or through Jalan Gunung Sahari-Jalan Kramat Raya, Jalan Salemba-lanlan Proklamasi, Jalan Tambak-Jalan Prof. Dr Saharjo and so on," he said.

Meanwhile, traffic engineering from west to east will be diverted to Jalan Budi Kemuliaan-Jalan Merdeka Selatan, Jalan Kebon Sirih.
Drivers can also go through Jalan Gunung Sahari-Jalan Kramat Raya, Jalan Salemba-jalan Proclamation, Jalan Tambak-Jalan Prof. Dr Saharjo and so on.
"We have prepared traffic engineering and there are 74 Dishub personnel on standby at certain points," said Syafrin.
