Police Exhumation Of Student Murder Victims In Bandung
Bandung Police, West Java conducted an exhumation or dug a grave to remove the body of R (17), a student who died as a result of being mistreated by his own friend.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bandung Police, AKBP Abdul Rahman, said the murder took place on April 2, 2024, on Jalan Pesantren, Arcamanik District, Bandung City.
"Three days after receiving treatment, the victim died," said Abdul, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 16.
Abdul said the victim was allegedly abused by two of his friends using a blunt object, namely a stick on the head. As a result of the persecution, the victim received treatment at Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS), Bandung City.
He revealed that after a few weeks after the victim died, the family then reported it to the Polrestabes on April 17, 2024 and an investigation was carried out immediately.
From this investigation, the police managed to secure two perpetrators who were still school friends, the victim with the initials GDH (15) and AJ (17).
"We have arrested two perpetrators. The perpetrators are colleagues of the victim and are still minors," he said.

The dismantling of the tomb from the victim is aimed at the next stage of the investigation process which will be carried out by an autopsy.
"That the implementation of this exhumation is in a series of investigations," he said.
