JAKARTA - Investigators of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General's Office confiscated a luxury house in the Summarecon Serpong area, Banten, owned by Tamron Tamsil alias Aon (TN), a suspect in a tin corruption case.
"One housing unit with an area of 805 m2 belongs to the suspect TN alias AN located at North Crown Golf Number 7 Summarecon Serpong, Banten," said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Ketut Sumedana, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 16.
Ketut explained, based on asset tracing carried out by the Jampidsus Asset Tracking Team, the house was obtained based on buying and selling on July 21, 2018.
Then, the property was confiscated by the asset tracking team on May 14, 2024.
"The confiscation was carried out in connection with the alleged corruption in the case of alleged corruption in the tin trading system of the PT Timah Tbk Mining Business Permit (IUP) area from 2015 to 2022," he said.
Ketut emphasized that the investigative team will continue to explore new facts from the evidence in order to shed light on a criminal act that is being investigated.

Until now, investigators have blocked 66 accounts, 187 plots of land or buildings, and confiscated cash, 55 units of heavy equipment and 16 units of cars from the suspects.
In addition, the investigative team has also confiscated assets in the form of 6 smelters in the Bangka Belitung Islands with a total land area of 238,848 m2, and 1 Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) in the South Tangerang City area.
Then for 6 smelters, the management will be followed up by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), so that the confiscation actions carried out will maintain economic value and not have a social impact.
Tamron Tamsil alias Aon (TN) as the beneficial owner or owner of the benefits of CV Venus Inti Perkasa (VIP), is one of 21 tin corruption suspects who caused state financial losses due to environmental damage worth IDR 271 trillion.
