Increase Market Access, Ministry Of Industry Facilitates These Seven Industries To Appear In The Uzbekistan Exhibition

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) facilitated seven domestic industries to appear at the exhibition The 17th International Exhibition Energy, Energy Saving, Nuclear Energy, Alternative Energy Sources or POWER Uzbekistan 2024 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The seven Indonesian industries that performed at the exhibition were PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia, PT Communication Cable Systems Indonesia, PT Sinar Baja Electric, Bandung Techno Park, PT Rainbow Tubulars Manufacture, PT 3S International and PT Indonesia Pomalaa Industry Park.

"The participation of the Indonesian Pavilion is a collaboration between the Ministry of Industry and the Indonesian Embassy in Tashkent which involves seven business actors from the electronics and telematics industry, the petroleum and gas pipeline industry, the measuring equipment industry and industrial estates," said Director of the Electronics and Telematics Industry (IET) of the Ministry of Industry Priyadi Arie Nugroho in an official statement received by VOI, Thursday, May 16.

The Ministry of Industry views this exhibition as potential to increase market access for electronic and telematic products to Central Asia.

Moreover, Uzbekistan is currently preparing to become a hub in Central Asia and its surroundings.

"The Ministry of Industry's participation in Power Uzbekistan 2024 also aims to encourage participants to penetrate access to non-traditional markets," he said.

In addition, to improve global business networks as well as show the capabilities of the national industry, especially the electronics and telematics sectors in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Indonesian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Sunaryo Kartadinata said the 2024 Uzbekistan Power was a meeting place for leading experts in the energy complex, including from relevant ministries and departments, producers and consumers.

Sunaryo added that participants and visitors to this exhibition came not only from Central Asian countries, but also from South Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

"Through the participation of seven national companies in this event, it is hoped that it can increase cooperation in the trade sector between Indonesia and partner countries," he added.

For your information, Power Uzbekistan 2024 is the biggest annual event for professionals in the energy industry.

There are around 400 business actors from 34 countries who attended this year's implementation with a target of more than 15,000 visitors.

Through the facilitation carried out by the government, in this case, the Ministry of Industry, it is hoped that the contribution of exports of Indonesian industrial products can increase in the future.
