AXA Mandiri Records Total Gross Claims And Benefits Drop 15 Percent In 2023

JAKARTA - AXA Mandiri paid a total gross claim and benefit of IDR 10.11 trillion over the past year, or a 15 percent year-on-year (yoy) decrease.

President Director of AXA Mandiri Handojo G. Kusuma said the number of AXA Mandiri customers reached 3.8 millionggregated throughout Indonesia.

"Our gross claims and benefits actually have a slight decline at minus 15 percent yoy and this shows how we are (good enough) in risk management and underwriting processes," he said, quoting Antara.

In general, he said that the company's performance during 2023 was quite good with the Risk Based Capital (RBC) ratio which was maintained at 519.24 percent, an increase from 477.58 percent in the previous year.

This figure is four times higher than the minimum limit set by the OJK, which is 120 percent.

"And our total equity increased by 12 percent yoy to IDR 3.619 trillion with our RoE (Return of Equity) approaching 39 percent," said Handojo.

He stated that the company's return on equity (ROE) rate rose 0.6 pts to 38.73 percent, while the company's return of assets (RoA) increased 0.4 pts to 3.26 percent.
