Asabri Corruption Case, AGO Checks Sriwijaya Air Boss

JAKARTA - Investigators are examining a number of witnesses in the alleged Asabri corruption case. One of them, the boss of Sriwijaya Air with the initials CL.

"The team of investigating prosecutors examined 7 witnesses," said the Head of the Attorney General's Legal Information Center, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak, in a written statement, Tuesday, March 9.

The seven people being questioned were the child of the STI, the child of the suspect Ilham W Siregar, NS (Director of PT Evergreen Sekuritas), BS (Head of the Compliance and Legal Division of PT Asabri).

Other witnesses were CL (President Commissioner of Sriwijaya Air), ABS (President Director of PT Strategic Management Service), MM (Assistant Piter Resiman) and RO (Managing Director of PT OSO Investment Management)

"The examination of witnesses was carried out in order to find legal facts and gather evidence about the criminal act of corruption that occurred at PT Asabri," said Leonard.

In this case, the AGO named nine suspects for alleged corruption in the management of finance and investment funds by PT Asabri.

They are the President Director of PT Asabri for the 2011-March 2016 period, Major General (ret) Adam Rachmat Damiri, the President Director of PT Asabri for the March 2016-July 2020 period, Lieutenant General (ret) Sonny Widjaja, and the Finance Director of PT Asabri for the October 2008-June period. 2014.

Then Bachtiar Effendi, Director of PT Asabri for the 2013-2014 and 2015-2019 periods, Hari Setiono, Head of the Investment Division of PT Asabri July 2012-January 2017, Ilham W Siregar, President Director of PT Prima Network, Lukman Purnomosidi, and Director of PT Jakarta Emiten Investor Relations , Jimmy Sutopo.

In addition, officials of PT Hanson International Tbk, Benny Tjokrosaputro, and Commissioner of PT Trada Alam Minera, Heru Hidayat. These two people are suspects in the corruption case at PT Asuransi Jiwasraya.
