Chery Recall 420 Unit Omoda 5 In Indonesia, Here's The Problem
JAKARTA - PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) withdrew or Recall Omoda 5 in the country due to problems with the rear-wheeled shell component (rear axle).

"Based on the results of these investigations, this incident is very rare. However, for safety reasons we managed to identify 420 units of OMODA 5 1.5T (Z and RZ) which have the potential to be affected in Indonesia," reads a withdrawal report or recall from Chery.
As an anticipatory measure, Chery Sales Indonesia decided to contact consumers who could potentially be affected to conduct inspections at the nearest Chery dealer.

With a total of 420 affected units identified based on the frame number of the vehicle. If the results of the inspection find potential from the problem in question, a replacement of spare parts will be carried out without being charged.
