There Are Still Many Who Don't Know, Bogor City Education Office Asked To Socialize New Study Tour Rules
The Bogor City DPRD asked the Bogor City Education Office (Disdik) to socialize the Circular (SE) of the Governor of West Java and the Mayor of Bogor which regulates the implementation of a study tour to schools, after the accident of a bus for the Lingga Kencana Vocational School tour work in Subang.
Commission IV of the Bogor City DPRD also held a working meeting with Disdik with an agenda for discussing the implementation of the circular letter on Monday, May 13.
"So it has been issued, the Governor's SE and the Mayor's SE. Disdik must immediately socialize it to schools so that these regulations can be implemented," said Head of Commission IV of the Bogor City DPRD, Akhmad Saeful Bakhri, Monday, May 13, as quoted by Antara.
Saeful emphasized that this rule is to ensure the safety and security of Bogor City students, as well as to provide a sense of responsibility to schools in carrying out study tours.
According to him, student tour activities can also be carried out in the inner city area. Considering that in the city of Bogor there are also many educational tourist destinations that are beneficial for students.
"We have Botanical Gardens, zoology museums, land museums, Batutulis inscriptions, AEWO Mulyaharja and many others. So this study tour should be carried out in the inner city area alone, or schools can prepare other activities that are useful for students to continue their next education level," he said.

Head of the Bogor City Education Office, Irwan Riyanto, emphasized that the outing class activity is part of the extracurricular, where students can study outside the school environment according to their choice.
However, he stressed the importance of a study tour depending on its objectives.
"If it's just for recreation, it's not that important. However, if the goal is to visit a museum or other historical place, then it becomes very important for students to gain useful knowledge," he explained.
Furthermore, he said, schools conducting study tours without a recommendation letter from the relevant agencies would be subject to sanctions according to the provisions.
"Schools must obtain a letter recommendation from the Bogor City Transportation Service regarding the condition of their vehicles and human resources. If they have not received the recommendation letter, then the study tour should not be implemented," said Irwan.
