List Of 16 Indonesian Representatives At Thailand Open 2024

JAKARTA This week, the Thailand Open 2024 badminton tournament will be held. Indonesia fielded 16 representatives in the BWF Super 500 level event.

This tournament takes place from Tuesday, May 14 to Sunday, May 19, 2024. The men's singles number is the only sector that does not have representatives in this event.

For the women's singles number, Indonesia sent four representatives. Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, who has confirmed that she will qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics, was included in a group with Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo, Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi, and Putri Kusuma Wardani.

The men's doubles numbers also number four representatives. The veteran pair Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan participated in the tournament which was held at Nimibutr Stadium, Bangkok, that.

The other three representatives are Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, and Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.

In the women's doubles sector, Indonesia has three pairs. They are Meilysa Trias Puspitasari/Rachel Alllessya Rose, Lanny Tria Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto, and Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi.

The most Indonesian envoys for Thailand Open 2024 come from the mixed doubles sector. This number sends five representatives, including the Rinov Rivaldy / Pitha Haningtyas Mentari pair who have also qualified for Paris.

Indonesian representatives have not won Thailand Open for a long time. The last time the title was held for Indonesia from this event was obtained by the Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu pair in the 2020 edition.
