Continuing To Gather Political Parties, PKB Insists On Pushing Gus Yusuf To Governor Central Java

JAKARTA - PKB continues to struggle to carry the Chairman of the Central Java PKB DPW KH Muhammad Yusuf Chudlori as a candidate for governor (cagub) in the 2024 Central Java (Central Java) Pilkada.

The man who is familiarly called Gus Yusuf said communication continued with other parties to form a coalition considering that PKB could not carry it alone in the contestation.

"At the Central Java PKB Conference, he mandated himself as Chairman of the Central Java DPW to advance H-1, so far there is not for D-2, so we continue to fight," he said after speaking at the Wong mBako Gathering, entitled 'Save Tobacco Save Our Life' which was held by the Tobacco Coalition in Temanggung, Sunday, May 12, was confiscated by Antara.

He said PKB could not carry its own in the Central Java Pilkada, because it only got 20 seats, while in order to be able to carry it yourself, it had to have 25 seats, so a partnership with other political parties (political parties) had to be built.

According to him, political communication was carried out with all political parties. Some time ago, for example, his party met with the party chairman of the Central Java PDIP DPD and the chairman of the Gerindra Party DPD.

He conveyed that the Central Java PKB and other political parties in Central Java had been in the process of communicating and consolidating, but the end was waiting for a decision from the General Chairperson of the DPP of each political party.

According to him, PKB dared to nominate H 1 with the capital as the second winner of the 2024 Legislative Election in Central Java. The Gerindra Party alone, as the third winner, dared to carry a candidate for governor.

Regarding the shooting, he said his commitment to continue to support the struggle of the tobacco community so that regulations take sides, there is strengthening the position of community farmers, and there is a massive healthy tobacco campaign.

The coordinator of the tobacco coalition, Bambang Elf, said that his party continues to educate and strengthen the food community in a number of areas, including in Temanggung. The goal is that the tobacco community is empowered and able to make decisions for their struggle.
