Overturned Bus Driver In Ciater Found Selamat

BANDUNG - The driver of a tourism bus with the initials SAD carrying a group of students from SMK Lingga Kencana Depok which overturned on Jalan Raya Kampung Palasari, Ciater District, Subang Regency, West Java, was declared safe.

"Still being treated at the Subang Regency Hospital," said Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Jules A. Abast, quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, May 12.

Jules explained that his party did not know that the bus driver had suffered minor injuries or serious injuries, but the bus driver could not be questioned by the police because his condition was still unstable.

"I have not received the exact information, but the condition is still being treated at the hospital and cannot be questioned," he said.

According to him, the chronology of the incident began when the bus came from the south to the north. When driving on a downhill road, the bus suddenly swerved to the right and hit the car from the opposite direction.

"Then it rolled tilted to the left position of the left tire above and was traced so that it hit three motorbikes parked on the shoulder of the road," he said.

Meanwhile, West Java Regional Police Wadirlantas AKBP Edwin Affandi revealed that his party is currently investigating the crime scene (TKP) at the location of the bus accident which overturned which caused 11 people to die.

"Today (12/5), we carried out a marking activity at the crime scene to provide signs that occurred or evidence that we found at the crime scene," said Edwin.

During the crime scene, police personnel marked several points at the accident site in accordance with statements from witnesses and signs when the accident occurred. The signing was carried out using white paint.

"Of course, this will take us to the desk later, then we will carry out the visualization of traffic accidents based on the evidence at the scene of the incident," he said.

Until now, his party together with related agencies are still conducting a series of crime scene processing (TKP) at the scene. Thus, the cause of the accident cannot be ascertained and will still be waiting for the results of the crime scene investigation.
