Ahok's Message To Cagub DKI: Jakarta Residents Have The Right To Hang Out At City Hall

JAKARTA - Former Governor of DKI Jakarta Basuki Tjahja Purnama or Ahok said there are several conditions that must be met by the Governor of DKI Jakarta. Among them dare to accept residents at the city hall.

"Jakarta residents have the right to hang out there," Ahok said as quoted from his YouTube account, Saturday, May 11.

Ahok said the city hall belongs to Jakarta residents. So, they should not be prohibited from conveying their aspirations there.

In fact, if necessary, the city hall can prepare free lunch. Ahok said, this idea had arisen so that residents who did not have money to eat could come there.

"I thought, yes, the idea at that time was yes, when people had difficulty eating, I really wanted the city hall to provide free lunch, fried rice. Who cooks? School children practice it," he said.

The former President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) said that the menu presented did not need to vary. "Why do you have to eat the same food? So that people who can afford it don't want to come every day to eat the same one," said Ahok.

"If it's for people who don't have food, they will come there to eat every day even if the menu is the same because it's for life. City hall should be like that," he continued.

Not only that, another requirement that is no less important is being able to prove the origin of his assets. The trick is to show the cost of living and income tax paid.

Then, Ahok said it was important for the governor to make budget transparency in the future. All must be accounted for up to the third unit level.

"The expected leader is the leader who is the father of the protector, who keeps every tax center paid by the citizens of Jakarta, for the benefit of the citizens of Jakarta," Ahok explained.

"It's expensive to pay the PBB, pay expensive STNK, pay expensive street lights. However, it can be flooded, it can be stolen, it can be robbed or it can fall because the road is bad," he concluded.
