UIN Jakarta Chancellor Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar revealed that the inauguration of the seven professors this time made UIN Jakarta as the State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN) with the highest number of professors, namely 138 people.
According to him, the increase in professors in the Jakarta UIN environment is an important part of the development of higher education academics.
Rektor Asep Jahar mengapresiasi perjuangan para guru besar atas pencapaian academic di bidang ilmu masing-masing. Namun, di balik itu, ada tanggung yang besar yang harus digemban oleh mereka.
He assessed that professors are true teachers, meaning teaching and being a guide. It doesn't mean that after becoming a professor, it just keeps away from the students, it's even difficult for students to contact.
"The essence of university reputation is in the responsibility of the professors through the implementation of their respective academic responsibilities," concluded Asep.
