Minister Of Health's Joke In Front Of Entrepreneurs: If You Become A Minister Of Finance, All I Get Lu Taxes
Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin responded to the news that he would become Minister of Finance (Menkeu) in Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka's cabinet.
According to him, if he is elected as Minister of Finance, he will try to maximize state or tax revenues, especially from entrepreneurs.
"If I become the Minister of Finance, I can get all your taxes," said Budi Sadikin during a discussion about stunting in front of entrepreneurs who are members of the Indonesian Employers' Association (Apindo) in Jakarta, Wednesday, May 8.
He also highlighted the difficulty of carrying out the position of Minister of Finance.
"I don't want to be Minister of Finance, yes. Everyone is afraid," he said.
Budi Sadikin assessed that whoever will occupy the seat of the Minister of Finance is entirely the authority of the elected president to determine.
"That's the one talking about journalists. Later, the quality one, right, the elected president," he said.
When asked further about this, Budi Sadikin said that he was more interested in becoming a minister in dealing with journalists, such as the Minister of Information in the era of President Soeharto's leadership.
"If there is a position like Pak Harto's era, the Minister of Information who takes care of journalists, I want to become the Minister of Information," he said.
