Ma'ruf Amin Positive Response To The Presidential Club: For The Vice President Of Club There Is No Idea

JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin responded to the idea of forming a Presidential Club. This idea was initiated by the elected president Prabowo Subianto as a forum for the assembly of the former president to meet and discuss the nation's problems

According to Ma'ruf Amin, the Presidential Club is a good idea. However, more efforts are needed to make it happen.

"About the Presidential Club, I think it's good. It's just that to make it happen, there needs to be even bigger, even harder efforts," said Ma'ruf Amin after attending the MUI halalbihalal event in South Jakarta, Tuesday, May 7.

According to him, the Presidential Club does not have to be formal, but can be in the form of consultations between the president and the former president.

"If it can be formalized properly, but otherwise it can be in the form of consultation between the president and the former president personally, informally," he added.

When asked whether the vice president would have a similar club, Ma'ruf Amin said there was no such idea for the vice presidents.

"I don't think there is an idea there yet, it doesn't exist yet, what appears is the Presidential Club," he said.
