JAKARTA - Apple has just finished its "Let Loose" event, where they have shown off their latest additions to their iPad lineup in almost two years. But the show isn't just about the iPad. The public is also getting the first chance to see some updated accessories and updated software.

Apple has added a new 13-inch iPad Air into their lineup, offering cheaper and lighter alternatives to the iPad Pro. In addition to larger sizes, Apple has also added an M2 chip to the device an upgrade from the M1 chip they include with the 2022 model.

The new iPad Air comes in blue, purple, starlight, and gray. The price is $599 for 11-inch and $799 versions for the 13-inch model. Both models have 128GB of basic storage and are equipped with options for 512GB and 1TB.

For the first time, the iPad Pro is equipped with a sharper and more lively OLED display. The iPad Pro also has a thinner profile, with a size of only 5.3mm for 11 inches and 5.1mm versions for the 13-inch model.

Apple not only provides physical makeovers to their iPad Pro even adding next-generation processors, M4. The new iPad Pro comes in silver and black space, with a base storage of 256GB. The 11-inch model starts at 999 US dollars (Rp 16 million), while the 13-inch version starts at 1,299 US dollars (Rp 20.8 million).

Speaking of M4, Apple revealed its new processor during the event. It is equipped with a 10 core CPU and a 10 core GPU and built using a more efficient 3nm process. Apple says this CPU chip is 50 percent faster than M2, making it a "very powerful chip for AI."

After announcing a cheaper Apple Pencil with USB-C last year, Apple is back with another update. The new Apple Pencil Pro now supports haptic feedback, along with a new holding movement that you can use to open the menu. It also allows you to roll Pencil to change the shape of the brush and support Find My. Apple Pencil Pro is compatible with the iPad Pro and costs 129 US dollars (Rp 2 million).

Apple Pencil isn't the only iPad accessory to get an upgrade. Apple is also showing off a redesigned Magic Keyboard with an aluminum support, a larger trackpad with haptic feedback, and a line of functions. It also comes in silver and black space to match the iPad Pro. This magic Keyboard costs $299 for 11-inch and $349 versions.

With the launch of the new iPad Air and iPad Pro, Apple announced that it was lowering their 10th generation iPad price to US$349 (Rp5.6 million). That's 100 US dollars lower than the previous initial price of US$449 (Rp7.2 million).

Apple launched a new app called Final Cut Camera, which was built specifically to support live multi-camera production. The app is synchronized with the updated Final Cut Pro app and allows users to "connect multiple iPhones or iPads to capture additional angles during live multi-cam shootings or record professional videos."

In addition, Apple also revealed new AI features for their digital audio workstation, Logic Pro, including new virtual bass players and keyboard players.
