Searching Samarinda Hospital For Employee Incentive Manipulation, East Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office Secures Electronic Barbuk

The East Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) carried out forced efforts in the form of searches and seizures at the Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie (AWS) Regional General Hospital Samarinda, Tuesday, May 7.

The search was carried out to investigate the alleged case of manipulation of the additional employee income budget (TPP).

"The search was based on the Search Order of the Head of the East Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office Number Print-02/O.4.5/Fd.1/04/2024 dated April 29, 2024," said Head of the Legal Information Section of the East Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office Toni Yuswanto, Tuesday, May 7, confiscated by Antara.

The search process was carried out for approximately three hours from 11.00 WITA-14.00 WITA. Officers secured documents and electronic evidence (barbuk) in the form of two computer CPUs (central processing units) from the search.

Toni said that the documents/letters/electronic evidence (BBE) had then been confiscated based on the Seizure Order of the Head of the East Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office Number Print-01/O.4.5/Fd.1/04/2024 dated April 2, 2024 and all of them were made by Minutes of Confiscation and Receipts.

According to him, the search and confiscation of goods was carried out in connection with the investigation of alleged corruption in the payment of TPP funds for the 2019 2022 fiscal year at the Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Hospital (AWS) Samarinda City based on the Investigation Order of the Head of the East Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office Number Print-05/O.4/Fd.1/02/2024 dated February 29, 2024.

Toni explained that the AW Sjahranie Hospital Samarinda every year realizes the expenditure of employees sourced from the APBD, one of which is used to pay the basic salary of employees and TPP funds for employees with civil servants (PNS) status.

"In the period 2018 to 2022, there has been manipulation of data on TPP recipients in the Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Hospital Samarinda," said Toni.

He said that this matter was ultimately used for personal gain, so that as a result of this act, the potential loss to state finances was approximately Rp. 6 billion.

"The purpose of the search and confiscation is to find and collect evidence in the context of the interests of proving the case and to shed light on the crimes that have occurred," he said.
