Official! Indonesia Vs Guinea Match Takes Place Closed
JAKARTA The match between the Indonesian U-23 national team against Guinea U-23 at the 2024 Paris Olympics playoffs will be held behind closed doors.
The duel of the two teams to win one remaining Olympic ticket will take place at Clairefontaine, Paris, France, Thursday, May 9.
The Guinean Football Federation (FGF) in an upload on Instagram confirmed that apart from being closed, the schedule for this match also changed.
"Initially it was scheduled to take place at 12.00 GMT, but now it is shifted to 13.00 GMT on CNF Clairefontaine and takes place behind closed doors," the FGF wrote.
Indonesia had to play a playoffs after losing against Iraq in the race for third place in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup, which took place on Thursday, May 2.

The match against Guinea is the only chance left for Indonesia to be able to secure tickets to the 2024 Paris Olympics in the middle of this year.
This playoffs match will only be held once. The winners will be in Group A and join the hosts France, the United States, and New Zealand.
Guinea will be a tough opponent for Indonesia. The reason is, currently on average, their players are having careers in European clubs.
