Regarding Providing Prabowo's Input For Cabinet Susun, Jokowi: Proposal Is Allowable But The President's Full Rights Are Chosen
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) emphasized that the composition of the cabinet in the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government is the prerogative of both as President and Deputy Elected.
This was emphasized by President Jokowi when asked whether he was asked or participated in providing advice regarding the composition of the upcoming cabinet.
"The cabinet is 100 percent the prerogative of the president. If the proposals are allowed, but that is the full right of the elected President," said President Joko Widodo after reviewing the electric vehicle exhibition at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Friday.
Jokowi emphasized that suggestions could be given if there was a request from the Elected President.
"If you ask for advice, it's okay (to give advice), if you ask for advice. But if you don't ask for advice, you can join in, now that's what you can't," he said.
Previously, there were rumors that President Joko Widodo was asked to or participate in providing input regarding the composition of the cabinet of the Presidential and Vice President Elected Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government.
