JAKARTA - Air quality in DKI Jakarta is in the unhealthy category based on data from the air quality monitoring site IQAir on Friday, May 3 morning. Based on observations at 06.00 WIB reported by ANTARA, the air quality index (AQI) in Jakarta is in the unhealthy category with a smooth particle number (PM) 2.5 at 158. The air quality monitoring site with the latest time also listed Jakarta as the city with the worst fifth-ranked air quality in the world. The city with the worst air quality in the world on Friday is Delhi (India) with air quality indexes at 260, followed by Lahore (Pakistan) at 191 and Kathyandu (Nepal) at 180. A number of areas in Jakarta that are recorded to have air quality with unhealthy categories, namely Jeruk Purut Pasar Minggu, Cilandak, Kemang and Kembangan.
