The Jansen Don't Want To Rush To Add New Personnel

JAKARTA - Left behind by two personnel at the end of last year, Bani (vocals, guitar) and Adji (bass) are still running The Jansen until now. They do not want to rush to fill the position left with permanent personnel.

In recent months, The Jansen prefers to use session players. Bani prefers a more natural process to determine the replacement for permanent personnel.

"The point is that we are aware, we already know what his wishes are like. So, to determine the substitute player, it seems that a long process is needed and we still use natural selection," said Bani when met in Blok M, South Jakarta recently.

Not without reason, Bani does not want the determination of new personnel who are in a hurry to cause mismatch, requiring the band to lose personnel again.

"Considering us, we immediately played 'You've joined Jansen', but suddenly shocked or something. Yes, it will happen again. So we'll just play casually," said Bani.

"What is clear is that we already have a fixed additional. So it's just a little bit more than PDKT, just shot. Sometimes there are terms, PDKT is better than dating, that's all," he continued.

Bani also believes The Jansen will need other permanent personnel in time. He felt a band would be better when working on a work together.

"If we band, he wants there to be figures who can be invited to work together. Yes, later on, there will be other colors for Jansen, who is now or before. Just for a while like what, maybe the method is just a little relaxed, not in a hurry," concluded Bani.
