Blessings For Selling Fruits, Segara Kumala Distributes Dividends Of Up To IDR 23 Billion

JAKARTA - PT Segar Kumala Indonesia Tbk (BRUAH) agreed to distribute dividends worth IDR 23 billion or equivalent to IDR 23 per share for the 2023 financial year.

This large fruit trading company said the dividend was equivalent to 59 percent of the 2023 net profit of IDR 38.8 billion, or an increase of 45.7 percent year on year (yoy) compared to 2022 which was valued at IDR 26.61 billion.

"With that achievement, we will distribute dividends of IDR 23 billion this year, equivalent to 59 percent of our profit last year (2023)," said FRUK President Director Renny Lauren quoting Antara.

Director of FRUK, Vianita, Januaryni, said that management appreciates the performance of all levels of employees who have supported increasing the company's profit in 2023.

"Last year we targeted an increase of 30 percent, and in fact we managed to exceed the target by 15.7 percent to 45.7 percent," said Vianita.

Furthermore, Director of FRUIT Toni Soegiarto revealed that the company is targeting sales of IDR 2 trillion for 2024, or an increase of 13.8 percent (yoy) compared to the 2023 achievement.

Until the first quarter of 2024, the company's net sales were recorded at Rp465.04 billion, an increase compared to Rp376.89 billion in the same period the previous year.

In 2023, the company has opened new branches in the Bangka Belitung Islands and Palembang City, as well as the inauguration of new cooled warehouses in Jakarta, thus reducing the capacity of the FRUIT warehouse to 7,505 tons.

"This expansion and additional warehouse capacity is expected to boost the sale of FRUITs and will continue to expand its reach to other areas," said Toni.
