Indosat Notes An Increase In The Number Of Customers Up To 100.8 Million During Q1 2024

JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) recorded positive growth during the first three months of 2024 (Q1), with a total revenue of IDR 13,835 billion, an increase of 15.8 percent compared to the previous year (YoY).

In addition, at the end of Q1 2024, Indosat's subscriber increased 2.3 percent YoY, reaching 100.8 million subscribers. This growth contributed to a 14.3 percent increase in data traffic YoY to 3,858 Petabytes (PB).

President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchisonmen Sinha, stated that the achievement of the first quarter of 2024 reflects Indosat's commitment to creating sustainable value for all stakeholders, as well as strengthening Indonesia's digital economy.

This increase is also accompanied by strategic investment in improving network infrastructure. During this time, the number of Indosat 4G BTS increased by 20.8 percent YoY to 184 thousand.
