Thanks To The PTSL Program, 91.3 Million Lands Registered

JAKARTA - Minister of Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said as many as 91.3 million plots of land had been certified thanks to the Complete Systematic Land Registration Program (PTSL).

"Regarding Complete Systematic Land Registration or PTSL, 91.3 million land parcels have been certified," AHY said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 30.

AHY said that this year it is targeted at 120 million registered land parcels. This, said AHY, was in accordance with the direction of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Of these targets, the Ministry of ATR/BPN has successfully registered 112 million plots of land or about 93.3 percent of the targeted.

Meanwhile, those who have been certified have reached 91.3 million plots of land.

"Against the remaining 8 million land registrations, we will accelerate the realization until the end of 2024," said AHY.

He conveyed, related to the implementation of electronic land certificates which were carried out massively.

To date, AHY continued, 38,194 electronic land certificates and 39,648 electronic land books have been issued.

"We will continue to accelerate this achievement, which is also supported by complete regencies/cities to implement the issuance of electronic documents. In 2024, we are targeting 104 complete regencies/cities throughout Indonesia," he said.

Since 2017 until now, the increase in economic value has reached Rp6,322 trillion.

"And 96 percent are circulating in the community through rights," added the Minister of ATR.

Previously, ATR/BPN Minister Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono accompanied President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to hand over 10,323 electronic land certificates resulting from land redistribution symbolically in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java.

"Today, 10,323 land certificates were handed over to the people of Banyuwangi certificates to 8,633 families (KK) from 17 villages throughout Banyuwangi Regency," said AHY.

AHY hopes that the land certificate submitted in Banyuwangi can improve the economy of the local community.

In addition, with the land certificate, the community has legal certainty against the land so that it cannot be seized by irresponsible parties.
