Sri Mulyani Reveals Strategy To Maintain Indonesia's Economic Growth Rate
JAKARTA - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati expressed Indonesia's starting to maintain economic growth above 5 percent. This was conveyed on the sidelines of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) agenda in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
"On the sidelines of my agenda of attending the 2024 Annual Meeting @isdb_stories in Riyadh, I fulfilled the invitation of @cnn Business Arabic to conduct interviews. @paulanaoufal and I talked about the prospects for the Indonesian economy going forward. One of them is about how Indonesia plans to keep the pace of economic growth above 5 percent," Sri Mulyani said in an upload on her official Instagram @smindrawati, Tuesday, April 30.
According to Sri Mulyani, the education, health, and social protection sectors for vulnerable communities are the keys to economic growth.
"The quality and welfare of humans is one of the main aspects that must be maintained, but infrastructure development should not be forgotten because it is the main support for mobility and productivity," he said.
Sri Mulyani said that investment in sharia instruments such as sukuk continues to grow in Indonesia.

"Not only Islamic finance, other financial sectors such as green finance are also growing in Indonesia. This is in line with the climate change agenda owned by Indonesia and the world," he said.
Interviews closed with discussions on the latest developments on cooperation between Indonesia and Arab countries such as the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Cooperation among them is claimed to be growing quite rapidly.
