PKB Claims Never Discussed Ministerial Seats To Prabowo

JAKARTA - PKB has expressed support for the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government which has become the president and vice president elected for the 2024 General Election.

However, Deputy Chairperson of PKB Jazilul Fawaid claimed that his party had never discussed the quota for ministerial seats to Prabowo.

"PKB has been in a coalition for a long time, it has never talked about distributing ministerial seats," said Jazilul at the PKB DPP office, Central Jakarta, Monday, April 29.

Jazilul said PKB realized that determining the seats of ministers who would help the government was Prabowo's authority as head of state in the next five years.

"We'll just have to wait, Pak Prabowo will be inaugurated. He has the prerogative, Pak Prabowo will divide it," said Jazilul.

On the previous occasion, Jazilul also emphasized that his party only wanted to familiarize itself with the Prabowo-Gibran camp.

"Of course PKB does not want to damage the harmony that exists in the Advanced Indonesia Coalition. PKB just wants the presidential election to lead to closeness, to friendship, and that has been proven by Mr. Prabowo by Gus Muhaimin, I think that's clear," said Jazilul on Friday, April 26.

Thus, Jazilul requested that the political party of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), which from the start carried Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 presidential election, not worry about PKB maneuvers.

"So, to friends of the Forward Indonesia Coalition, don't hesitate, don't worry about visiting. For what reason? Because PKB has always predicted friendship and doesn't want to disturb others," said Jazilul.
