2024 Thomas Cup Results: Beat Thailand 4-1, Indonesia To Quarter Finals
JAKARTA Indonesia made sure to qualify for the quarter-finals of the 2024 Thomas Cup after defeating Thailand in the second match of Group C.
Tickets to qualify for Indonesia were obtained after the men's doubles Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin won 21-13 and 21-10 over Sirawit Sothon/Natthapat Trinkajee in the fourth party, Monday, April 29, 2024, afternoon WIB.

Meanwhile, Leo/Daniel this year were given the target of bringing home the Thomas Cup trophy. This pair was previously also part of the 2020 Thomas Cup champion team which will be held in 2021 Denmark.
"When we won the Thomas Cup in 2021, we were still the youngest and there were still seniors. This year we have to be more responsible. So, we must always be ready to give our best," said Daniel.

In the last match of Group C, Indonesia will meet India, which is the defending champion in the Thomas Cup.
India previously won their first title in the 2022 Thomas Cup. At that time they beat Indonesia in the final match.
