Assets List Of PT Asabri TPPU Suspects Benny Tjokoro And Heru Hidayat Confiscated By The AGO

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has named Benny Tjokrosaputro and Heru Hidayat as suspects in the crime of money laundering (TPPU). This determination is based on the results of the exposure after the two assets were confiscated by investigators.

"The parties named as suspects in the TPPU case this time are BTS and HH who have previously been named as suspects in the criminal case of financial management and investment fund corruption at PT. Asabri," said the Head of the Attorney General's Office of Legal Information, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak, as stated on Saturday, March 6.

Based on the results of the exposure carried out by the investigator and the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), the evidence that has been obtained is considered sufficient to determine both of them as suspects.

Apart from that, from the original exposure, it was also found a series of non-criminal allegations that they had committed. Initially, this case occurred in the period 2012 to 2019. PT. Asabri (Persero) has made investment placements in the form of buying shares and mutual fund products to certain parties through a number of nominees affiliated with Benny Tjokro and Heru Hidayat without any fundamental analysis and technical analysis and made as a formality only.

Then, the President Director, Director of Investment and Finance, Head of the Investment Division as the officer in charge at PT. Asabri (Persero) actually collaborated with Benny Tjokro and Heru Hidayat in managing and placing PT. Asabri (Persero)'s investments in the form of shares and mutual fund products which is not accompanied by fundamental analysis and technical analysis.

As a result, the investment violated the provisions of the standard operating procedure (SOP) and the investment placement guidelines applicable to PT. Asabri (Persero).

"On the basis of this, there were illegal acts committed by the President Director, Director of Investment and Finance, Head of the Investment Division who approved the investment placement of PT. ASABRI (Persero) without going through fundamental analysis and technical analysis," said Leonard.

Placement of PT. Asabri (Persero) 's investment funds, which is only based on an analysis of mutual fund placements made on a formal basis, by Benny Tjokoro as Director of PT. Hanson Internasional together with Heru Hidayar as Director of PT. Trada Alam Minera and Director of PT. Maxima Integra, LP as Director of PT. Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk, SJS as Consultant, ES as a nominee, RL as President Commissioner of PT. Fundamental Resources and Beneficiary Owner and B as nominee Benny Tjokro for SUGI shares through the ES nominee resulted in irregularities in PT. Asabri's stock and mutual funds investment which resulted in a loss of IDR 23.73 trillion.

Therefore, BTS and HH as parties managing and causing state losses, in this case PT. Asabri (Persero), is designated as ML suspects by being subjected to articles of suspicion of violating Article 3 and/or Article 4 of Law U Number 8 of 2010 concerning Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering.

"The team of investigating prosecutors will continue to pursue and take action against anyone involved in the case and will be asked to take responsibility for the actions that have been committed in the case," said Leonard.

On the other hand, investigators have also submitted applications for blocking of confiscated assets. At least 1,224 plots of land belonging to Benny Tjokro have been confiscated. The assets are located in three different regions.

"In Bogor Regency, there are 220 land parcels in the form of building rights certificates (HGB). Then, in Lebak Regency there are 779 land parcels in the form of building use rights certificates," said Leonard.

Meanwhile, the third asset location is in Tangerang Regency. From that location, investigators confiscated at least 245 plots of land in the possession of Benny Tjokro.

"244 land parcels in the form of title to build and 1 parcel of land in the form of title of ownership (SHM)," said Leonard.

Meanwhile, assets belonging to Heru Hidayat that have been confiscated include 23 thousand hectares of nickel mining, a Ferrari F12berlinetta car, and 20 ships.

For nickel mining, said Leonard, using a different company name, namely nickel mining under the name of PT. Tiga Samudra Perkasa, covering an area of 3,000 hectares, a nickel mine on behalf of PT. Mahkota Nickel Indonesia with an area of 10,000 hectares and a nickel mining area under the name of PT. Tiga Samudra Nickel, covering an area of 10,000 hectares.

Then the investigating team was also confiscated a Ferrari F12berlinetta. This car was allegedly purchased from the corruption of PT. Asabri.

"1 unit of Ferrari F12berlinetta police number B 15 TRM along with Vehicle Registration Certificate, Proof of Motor Vehicle Ownership and proof of payment of vehicle purchase," said Leonard.
