JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Yandri Susanto believes that during the transition period of government from President Joko Widodo to Prabowo Subianto there will be no obstacles."I believe that there will be no obstacles or obstacles for Pak Jokowi to pass on, continue the leadership to Pak Prabowo, God willing, there will be no obstacles. Likewise, Pak Prabowo inherited Pak Jokowi's power, God willing, there will be no obstacles," said Yandri at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday.Because, he said, the president and vice president elected for the 2024-2049 period are committed to continuing President Jokowi's government programs."Because indeed Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran, where PAN is part of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition, we carry it forward," he said.In addition, he continued, Jokowi and Prabowo have the same vision and mission so that he also believes that the transitional leadership period will not cause political turmoil."So during this transition period there will be no kind of worrying dynamics, I am sure there is none, including political shocks, God willing, there will be none because Pak Jokowi and Pak Probowo have the same vision and mission," he said.Previously, Wednesday (24/4), the Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) appointed Prabowo-Gibran as the elected pair of Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections in accordance with KPU Decree Number 504 of 2024.
Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Hasyim Asy'ari explained that Prabowo-Gibran won 96,214,691 votes or 58.59 percent of the total national legitimate votes and met at least 20 percent of the votes in each province spread across 38 provinces in Indonesia.
