The 2024 Pilkada Budget In East Belitung Reaches IDR 22 Billion
BABEL - Regions in Indonesia are preparing to enter the Regional Head Election period (Pilkada). The preparations were also made by the East Belitung Regency Government, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, which has budgeted IDR 22 billion for the 2024 Pilkada.
"We have set a regional election budget of Rp22 billion in the form of grant funds managed by the KPU and Bawaslu as administrators," said East Belitung Regency Government Regional Secretary totaling Noviansyah in Manggar, as reported by Antara, Sunday, April 28.
menjelaskan, naskah perjanjian hibah daerah (NPHD) sudah diteken oleh dua lembaga penyelenggara pemilihan yaitu KPU dan Bawaslu.
A total of Rp. 16 billion in grant funds was given to the KPU and Rp. 6 billion for Bawaslu, with a total of Rp. 22 billion.
"The regional government certainly hopes that with the support of this budget, the democratic party in the area will be well organized and the budget will also be maximally absorbed," he said.
This also alluded to the fact that ASN participated as organizers, both at the KPU, Bawaslu and ad hoc institutions.
"The Regional Secretary does not prohibit ASN from being the organizer as long as it gets the leadership's permission and its integrity is guaranteed or impartial," he said.
"Please ASN who want to take on the role of the organizer, for example, the adhoc body, as long as the laws and regulations allow it," said God willing.

However, my boss advised ASN who wanted to play a direct role as the ad hoc committee to continue to carry out their main duties and functions.
"You have to give permission to your superiors because it has something to do with the implementation of the ASN task itself. That is the priority of ASN, not even busy taking care of politics," said God willing.
The former Head of Bappelitbangda emphasized the neutrality of ASN and did not want ASN to support it, let alone become a success team for one of the partners.
All ASN in the East Belitung Regency Government are obliged to maintain conditions during the implementation of the Pilkada. Don't let there be divisions due to differences of opinion in politics," he said.
