NasDem Welcomes If PKS Joins The Prabowo-Gibran Government Coalition
Chairman of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh welcomed if the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) wanted to follow in the footsteps of its party to enter the government coalition.
"The full authority lies with PKS friends. My view is all good," said Surya Paloh when met at the DPP PKS office, South Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, April 27.
According to Surya Paloh, the unity of all parties is needed to fix the complex nation's problems. Therefore, he hopes that the entire party will lower its ego and reunite to advance the nation with the government.
"The more possible we invite the parties to unite in overcoming the problems of our national life, the basic principle is good," he said.
At the same time, PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu said his party could not confirm PKS's move to enter the government coalition.
"Not yet, this (PKS joins the coalition) is the realm of the Syuro Council Deliberation, I have great respect, later it will be decided by the Shura Council or the Syuro Council Working Body," he said.

Previously, Surya Paloh had declared NasDem to be included in the government coalition to help the President and Vice President Elect Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
This was said by Surya when meeting with Prabowo in Kartanegara VI, South Jakarta, Thursday (25/4). Prabowo also welcomed the support given by NasDem.
"We agree that we will work together as much as possible for the interests of the Indonesian people," said Prabowo.
