Prevent Unresponsible Persons, Land Bank Agency Gets Police To Eradicate Brokers
JAKARTA - The Land Bank Agency signed a memorandum of Understanding with the Indonesian National Police (Polri). This MoU concerns the synergy of carrying out duties and functions in the field of land management.
Head of the Land Bank Agency, Parman Natamatmadja, said that this synergy is in order to support the duties and functions of the Land Bank Agency, especially related to land management for the development of public interests, social interests, national development interests, economic equity, land consolidation and agrarian reform.
"This MoU can be the basis for the Land Bank and Polri Agency to optimize its duties and functions," Parman said, quoting Antara.
Parman emphasized that this MoU is also a form of the seriousness of the Land Bank Agency in preventing the emergence of irresponsible persons in the land sector. Moreover, the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (Minister of ATR/Head of BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono or AHY is committed to eradicating the land mafia.
The land assets that we have obtained must of course be carried out by security from irresponsible persons. And no less important are the problems caused by the land mafia, harm the community, harm the state. We fully support the Minister AHY in eradicating it," said Parman.
Land security, said Parman, is also carried out to ensure the rights of the community and provide certainty for investors.
"Because in the Management Rights (HPL) of the Land Bank Agency there are also community rights through Agrarian Reform, then there are investors that we must also provide certainty. Investors, if they want to buy land, are the most difficult, because there are land brokers," he said.
