Minister Basuki Raised His Voice About The Construction Work Of The Getaci Toll Road
JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono spoke about the target of the longest toll road construction work in Indonesia, namely the Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap (Getaci) Toll Road.
Basuki revealed that until now his party had not received an update on the latest progress of the toll auction.
"For the Getaci Toll Road, I haven't got the full information yet," said Basuki when met at the PUPR Ministry office, Jakarta, Friday, April 26.
This condition seems different from the Gilimanuk-Bengwi Toll Road development plan which was reported to have been officially designated as a National Strategic Project (PSN) which is targeted to start working in the fourth quarter of 2024.
In line with Basuki, Spokesperson for the Ministry of PUPR, Endra S Atmawidjaja also spoke about the toll road project.
When asked about whether the status of the Getaci Toll PSN would continue, he was reluctant to answer.
"I don't know whether the Getaci toll road (the PSN status is revoked or not)," he said.
Previously, the Director General of Public Works and Housing Infrastructure Financing at the Ministry of PUPR Herry Trisaputra Zuna said the Getaci Toll auction process was extended.

The project auction extension was carried out due to an additional expansion of the construction land.
"It's still in the process, yesterday there was an additional clearance zone. So, add (land acquisition) as well as be structured for business entities," said Herry when met in Jakarta, Monday, February 5.
He targets the extension of the toll road project auction to be completed within the next three months.
"The target for completion of the auction is 1 + 3 (month) at the earliest. So, it's about four months away," he added.
