PKB Claims Only To Be Familiar To Prabowo's Camp, Don't Want To Damage The Harmoni Of The Advanced Indonesia Coalition

JAKARTA - PKB decided to join the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government coalition after the determination of the president and vice president elected for the 2024 election.

However, PKB Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) Jazilul Fawaid claims his party only wants to familiarize itself with the Prabowo-Gibran camp. This refers to Prabowo's visit to the PKB headquarters on Wednesday, April 24.

"Of course PKB does not want to damage the harmony in the Forward Indonesia Coalition. PKB just wants the presidential election to lead to closeness, to friendship, and that has been proven by Mr. Prabowo by Gus Muhaimin, I think that's clear," said Jazilul at the PKB DPP, Central Jakarta, Friday, April 26.

Thus, Jazilul requested that the political party of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), which from the start carried Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 presidential election, not worry about PKB maneuvers.

"So, to friends of the Forward Indonesia Coalition, don't hesitate, don't worry about visiting. For what reason? Because PKB has always predicted friendship and doesn't want to disturb others," said Jazilul.

It is known, PKB has stated that it wants to continue working with Gerindra both in the legislature and executive. Today, NasDem also stated that it supports the Prabowo-Gibran government.

The Gerindra Party claims there is no resistance in KIM if there are political parties outside the coalition who want to join the Prabowo-Gibran government, including PKB and NasDem.

The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that nine political parties in KIM had fully handed over to Prabowo Subianto as the elected president to receive the support of new political parties in his government. Including in the matter of preparing cabinets and ministerial seats.

Meanwhile, there are 9 political parties that are members of KIM. Namely, Gerindra, Golkar, PAN, Democrats, PBB, PSI, Gelora, Prima and Garuda.

"Friends at the Forward Indonesia Coalition fully entrust the elected president in adding new coalition friends and then forming a cabinet," said Dasco in Kertanegara, Jakarta, Thursday, April 25, evening.
